Virtue Ethics (2012)

This video was created as part of a consultation with the Meredith College Dance Department under the Ethics Across the Curriculum program. My role involved collaborating with various departments to integrate learning units, course modules, and assessments on the application of ethical and moral theories into discipline-specific scenarios and case studies.

For this project, I authored the script to align with both the department’s needs and the program’s goals. Avatars were carefully selected, and multiple camera angles were planned to enhance visual engagement. Their movements and facial expressions were animated to bring energy and relatability to the content. Voice selections were made to ensure clarity and strike the right tone for an educational setting.

The video was initially produced using xTranormal, and it effectively demonstrated how ethical and moral theories could be applied to dance, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter and promoting critical thinking among students.
